Not able to connect to Azure Windows VM in RDP

When you are not able to connect to Azure Windows VM in RDP, it indicates specific problems with the machine itself

First and foremost you need to see whether you have machine have started and if the machine is up and running then follow the below steps to see what’s the screen on your Windows machine

Step1 : Go to your Virtual Machine

Step2: Then Click on Boot diagnostics

you will be able to see a below screen as shown



If you have got issues like this then you need to troubleshoot it with different issues and the first & foremost thing you should do is go to the VM in Azure & then click on Diagnose and Solve problems

Once you click on it, then click on Cannot connect to VM

Once you choose cannot RDP, the troubleshooter will run some tests as shown below and return whether there are any issues
