Resizing a Azure Windows VM from AzurePortal

Sometimes you need to resize Azure Windows VM which involves changing the VM Size or Cores in Azure. To do this you may need to follow the below steps

Step 1: Stop the VM

Step 2: Then go the Size & Choose from any of the size as shown in the screenshot

Step 3: Then after choosing the size, Click on “Resize”

Step 4: Once you have resized the current size would be displayed at the top

Step 5: After resizing the VM, you can again restart the VM
