Full Error : You are not authorized to update the status for this subscription – Azure DevOps

Solution: This issue occurs when a stateholder tries to access something for which he doesn’t have access. (E.g Stakeholder trying to set Global notifications)

Global notifications can be set only by project admin who needs to have basic access
